Redmond Tree Service got its start on Kauai in 2011. We came up learning tropical tree care, the kind of work where everything grows fast, heavy, and year-round. Coconut palms, mango trees, noni, monkeypod, these aren’t trees you learn about in a textbook. You learn them by doing.
Tropical trees present their own set of challenges. Coconuts and palm fronds become dangerous when left unmaintained. Fruit trees need careful pruning to stay productive and healthy. We’ve developed techniques, like spikeless palm climbing with Swiss Tree Grippers, that are gentle on your trees and help us to get the job done right.
When our family relocated to Kentucky, we had a decision to make about the Hawaii side of the business. The answer was simple: keep going. We still serve longtime clients on Kauai and take on new work here, with the same crew standard, and the same commitment to doing things right.
